Premium Bone Care
A bone mineral densitometry (BMD) is a test measuring calcium and other minerals in bone using the X-Rays. Bones that contain more minerals are typically denser, so they tend to be stronger and less likely to break. Bones can become less in their density as we age or if we develop certain bone-degenerative conditions. When too much bone density is lost, osteoporosis can develop. Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and brittle, which increases the risk of fractures (broken bones).
